History: The Wood Elves are the children of the Elder Gods Ingarus and Mirezvala. They are called the First Born, for they are the first Children to set foot upon Anea. Under the leadership of their strict, unwavering god, Ingarus, the Elves became aloof and more inclined to disdain any not of their race. They were known to be harsh in their judgements and very unyielding in their ideas.
Current: The Elves of today are cultured, beautiful, intelligent and so highly skilled that they are often the envy of most other races. They tend to live in villages and cities in the woods and forests, keeping to the nature that they so love. The number of Elves upon Etouria, the main continent of Anea, is diminishing, though. Most have left the main continent and none currently know where they reside.
Racial Conflict: It is generally believed among the Elven kind that part of the reason for
their diminishing numbers is the intermingling of their bloodline with that
of umans. For this reason, the Wood Elves upon Etouria are most recently known to be aloof with humans. The age-old hatred between Dark Elves and Wood Elves is still present, though the tensions are lessening as time passes. Wood Elves and Orcs have always been, and still are, mortal enemies.
