History: Half-arachnid, half Drow, Drider are considered by most to be abominations of nature. They were created during a religious ceremony performed by the clerics of the Elder Goddesses, Mirezvala and Illycantha. The race of Drider was created for the sole purpose of acting as slaves for the Drow.
Current: Drider are extremely extremely fast on their feet, for six spider legs can move like lightning. The Drider no longer serve or live with their creators and are coming to the surface more and more. They are still subject to a good bit of racial descrimination, as the majority of the races feel as though they are dangerous. They are fearsome creatures in battle, their spider like reflexes lending them speed and agility that few warriors can hope to stand against for long.
Racial Conflict: Drider hate Dark Elves and Orcs, though they are neutral with all others.
